Sacre Coeur Prague
Prague Sacre Coeur Church is on a site formerly occupied by a convent and the Sacre Coeur finishing school for girls, a French-style educational institution for girls from wealthy families. The foundation stone for the construction of a new church, built in the Neo-gothic style, was laid on 30th June 1882, which now serves as a premier Prague gala venue.
The newly renovated, and deconsecrated church premise, makes use of its grand design, and it currently serves commercial purposes. The vast space in the former church is used for concerts, as well as banquets, cocktail parties and buffets, where its untraditional form and beauty, makes it a popular awe inspiring venue. The lofty height gives visitors and guests the feeling of flight through the many overhead frescos painted on the ceilings so high above. A truly magical venue with “Angelic” appeal.
Sacre Coeur comprises a nave of approximately 210 meters, aisle of approximately 86 meters and courtyard of approximately 600m for outdoor receptions and other activities. The area also includes the adjacent hallway of approx 300m. Due to its unique interior and inimitable ambience, the premises of this chapel are sought after for organizing gala receptions, company and social events, weddings parties, fashion shows, and various exhibitions. Sacre Coeur offers free parking, a smoking area and two separate entrances.
