Nepomuk River Boat
The crown and jewel of the fleet is the speed ship, which bears the name of St. John of Nepomuk. Nepomuk is a unique venue in Prague, whereupon you can sail your event down the River Vltava, to the town of Mělník, admiring the magnificent chateaus along the banks. “Nepomuk” is a larger vessel dating back to 1928, which was originally made in the docks in Belgium, and later restored to perfection here in Prague. The oldest, and most glamorous, floating vessel on the Vltava River.
This vessel boasts a deluxe saloon with the stylings of the 1920’s, completely adorned in beautiful wood. Moreover, the ship is equipped with a unique diesel engine lit by fuses, which enables it to furrow the waters of Vltava with an extraordinary speed. All equipment, and the appearance of the boat, is a genuine. The interior equipment, brass fittings, and other fixtures, correspond to the end of the 19th century. Hosting an event on Prague’s river is one of the best ways to capture the beauty of Prague as you have the luxury of floating by the banks and taking in the splendor.
Your guests can enjoy a stylish river cruise along the most interesting historical spots in the city such as Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Rudolfinum, Building of Czech Government, etc. The boat has an indoor saloon, as well as a bow and stern outer decks. The outer area is recommended for drinks as the inner area for gala dinner. All furniture from saloon area can be removed and large round tables can be setup in its place.
Nepomuk docks a few steps away from Charles Bridge. Capacity of Nepomuk is up to 50 guests for served dinner or buffet and there is an upright piano available within the saloon.
Nepomuk is the oldest original boat that you can see providing active cruises on the Vltava River. It is a comfortably equipped salon boat that accommodates up to 100 passengers. The interior can accommodate up to 100 guests, and the sun deck has room for 54 people on this unique venue in Prague.
