Kaiserstein Palace

Kaiserstein Palace: a great place to meet since the days of the Baroque period.

Kaiserstein Palace is an architectural gem situated in Prague’s Lesser Quarter. Originally built in 1654, it was completed to its current beauty in 1720, and is currently protected by UNESCO as a historical landmark. The Palace rests on land originally occupied by two ancient houses. This meeting space Prague, was first mentioned in topographies dating back to the year 1404.

Kaiserstein Palace is a work of Baroque art, and uses precious wooden ceilings, remarkable parquet mosaics, imposing crystal chandeliers and fabulous marble details, in order to tell its story of grandeur. The Palace provides a completely original and unique location, which definitely promises a memorable event.

French geologist and paleonthologist J. Barrande lived in the palace in mid-19th century, later on opera singer M. Sittová-Petzoldová used to live there and so did another opera diva, world famous E. Destinnová between 1907 and 1914 (a memorial tablet with a bust). After 1980 the palace was renovated and adapted to suit the needs of the Czechoslovak chamber of commerce and industry.

This Malostranske namesti palace is connected to practicality. Two floors of halls and lounges cater for all kinds of events. It is surprising to find a multi-purpose area (2 floors)  with beautiful views of the most famous of Prague icons (Prague Castle, the Cathedral of St. Nicholas) in proximity to government establishments (both Chambers of Parliament, the Ministry of Finance).  The layout of the venue allows for a grand meeting space Prague on 1st floor, while the second floor can be used for foo and beverage services.
