Great Prague Event Planning restaurant Vojanuv Dvur is more of a dining complex rather than just a restaurant. Its traditional bohemian atmosphere, complemented with a large summer beer garden in the courtyard, is the perfect setting to sample and savour in the time-honored Czech menu. The overall feel of this restaurant brings you back to the true essence of a Prague pub in the early 20th century.
In 1249, it was the seat of the Prague bishop. This is the first written record about this building. The aristocratic family Windischgrätz gained ownership at the beginning of the 19th century. Stabled here was ARDO II as it was once used as an imperial stable. stabled here. Hence Ardo was choosen by the famous Czech sculptor Jan Myslbek as a model for the equestrian statue of St. Wenceslas in the upper part of Wenceslas Square.
The tipple of choice to go along with the menu offerings, of course, award winning Czech beer, is poured from large beer tanks. A variety of smoked meats, Prague ham, roasted pork, home-made potato cakes, and other Bohemian specialties make up the menu. Above all, a favorite amongst groups is the fire roasted suckling pig which is prepared in front of diners on the garden BBQ pit. Live traditional Czech entertainment is the perfect accompaniment to truly make this a memorable experience.
