In 1249, Vojanův Dvůr was first recorded as the seat of the Prague bishop. The Windisch-Graetz family acquired it in the 19th century. It once served as an imperial stable, where ARDO II was kept. This horse inspired Czech sculptor Jan Myslbek‘s equestrian statue of St. Wenceslas on Wenceslas Square.
The tipple of choice to go along with the menu offerings, of course, award winning Czech beer, is poured from large beer tanks. A variety of smoked meats, Prague ham, roasted pork, home-made potato cakes, and other Bohemian specialties make up the menu. Above all, a favorite amongst groups is the fire roasted suckling pig which is prepared in front of diners on the garden BBQ pit.
