Petrin Terraces
Petrin Terraces is a traditional Prague restaurant. It is situated in one of the most beautiful and romantic places of the ancient city of Prague. The restaurant sits upon the Eastern slope of Petrin hill. This consequently provides a completely unique view of the entire city below.
Views extend from the lofty Castle, over the roofs of the Lesser Town, Vltava bridges and also towers of the New Town, to the horizon of Pankrác directly to the ancient Vysehrad district. Petrin Terraces is located high on Petrin Hill, on level with Prague Castle. A former priests’ refectory, Petrin Terraces is a pleasant location to enjoy a friendly group gathering, while enjoying the panoramic views over Prague.
During winter, the inside of the restaurant is a warm respite from the cold exposure, as their fire burns warm throughout the cold months. In the summer, a large terrace opens, hence guests can bask in the sunshine and watch the sun gleam over the red rooftops.
The restaurant is furnished in a country cottage style. Cuisine is traditional Czech and therefore works perfectly with live dulcimer music to accompany dinner.
