Grand Monastery Restaurant
The rustically styled Restaurant for event in Prague seats 500 guests, with a further 150 places available on the beautiful summer terrace. In order to complete the ambiance and mood of the monastery, the wait staff are all dressed in stylish period costumes.
The restaurant is suitable for large and small groups owing to its segmented layout. The grounds are large enough to organise buffets and cocktail parties for up to a thousand guests as well. The cuisine offered by the restaurant includes traditional Bohemian specialties prepared according to age-old recipes. Sucking pigs, steaks, tarts, and a variety of traditional Czech delicacies are prepared in front of guests. Chef’s serve meat dishes on historic replica swords from the reign of Charles IV.
The wine served by the restaurant comes from the Monastery’s own Moravian Premonstratensian cellars and bears the name of the founder of the order – St Norbert.
