POLPO is a synonym for a good mood. POLPO is not a restaurant where you need to whisper. Here they love food and wine, they love music, they enjoy a good laugh and they want to share all of this with you. All of this, along with the very best that Mediterranean cuisine has to offer and provided by wonderful staff.
As the name hints, they focus predominantly on fresh fish and seafood, which are delivered daily and source from the carefully selected suppliers. Guests can choose from “a la carte” selection, however they also add specials based on the market availability. Apart from fish and seafood, they also offer homemade pasta, meat dishes, and desserts from own pastry chef.
Given that the Czech Republic is a land-locked country, you may be forgiven for thinking seafood is probably not your best bet. That being said, there has been a tremendous improvement, and I mean by leaps and bounds, both in terms of quality of seafood available and preparation of seafood in restaurants across the city. Swimming in the morning, and on your platter by dinner time!
