Alcron Hotel Prague
The Alcron Hotel holds a special place in Czech history as the original Alcron hotel was opened in 1932 and honors its history with an Art Deco-inspired design. The luxurious and elegant five star Alcron hotel, commands the same enviable reputation as its predecessor. At that time, the Alcron was considered the most modern, and exclusive downtown meeting hotel Prague. The current Alcron hotel embraces its past life, in which it was well known as the Jazz capital of the city, with its design seeped in the rich art deco styling’s, and almost nightly live jazz performances.
The Alcron has combined this homage to the past, with very modern, spacious, and commanding guest rooms and public areas. The only thing “old” in the hotel is its tradition of fine and personal guest service. After a recent meticulous renovation, each of the 206 guest rooms reflect complete comfort and elegance with spacious rooms designed in hues of beige, sage, and natural tones, whilst bowing to its heritage with art deco highlights, often custom designed for the hotel. The Alcron hotel is one of few European hotels to receive the highly prestigious Five Star Diamond Award consecutively from 2003 to 2006 from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.
The food and beverage offerings at the hotel also pay homage to its ancestry with the Be Bop Bar, a popular hangout and meeting point which still plays live jazz, the exclusive Alcron restaurant, which is well known as one of the finest creative seafood restaurants in Prague, as well as the La Rotunde Dining Room, dishing up both International and Czech favorites in, of course, beautiful Art Deco surroundings. For the fourth year in the row, the Alcron hotel Prague has the pleasure to announce that the Alcron restaurant received a Michelin star rating.
The hotel also has a state of the art meeting facilities with a full glass roof atrium which allows natural light to seep into the main ballroom which can accommodate up to 200 attendees. There are also several breakout, and boardrooms all located on the same floor in this prestigious downtown meeting hotel Prague.
